PHEV Technologies on GEA Platform

1. Safety: PHEV-exclusive battery with multi-layer high-strength composite protection plate, 6×4 safety frame, 5-layer HDPE fuel tank, and isolated fuel/exhaust/high-voltage channels; cuts power/fuel in milliseconds upon impact.
2. Space: Large entryway, low sill, class-leading rear room; downward-recessed battery pack combined with a widened rear design increases trunk capacity by 21L.

Pure Electric Technologies on GEA Platform

1. Space & Efficiency: CTB battery tech maximizes cabin space (+10mm Z-height) and reduces weight (approx.40kg), and extends range.
2. High-Efficiency E-Drive: 11-in-1 E-Drive exceeds industry average efficiency by 2% with 5ms response.
3. Thermal Management System: Nine-way valve module enables 51+ thermal modes, recycling waste heat to extend winter range by up to 25%.

Our EM-i Super Hybrid engine is built for maximum efficiency. The engine achieves an industry-leading thermal efficiency of 47.26%. This means more energy from every drop of fuel is converted into motion, delivering best-in-class performance and consistently low consumption in any driving scenario.

11in1 E-DHT Dedicated Hybrid Transmission

This 11-in-1 E-DHT dedicated hybrid transmission achieves a globally class-leading comprehensive efficiency of 92%. The highly integrated system reduces weight by 13.5% compared to peers. Its double-end X-Pin flat wire motor achieves up to 98.02% efficiency and 18,000 RPM, while the intelligent dual-pump cooling further increases system efficiency by 0.2% and cuts energy consumption by 0.3%.

Geely Battery Safety System

This 11-layer battery pack with 6-layer bottom protection adopts CTB integration tech to boost vehicle structural strength. It passed 6 rigorous tests with intact structure, no cell swelling/leakage, undamaged harnesses/functions, and regained high-voltage power for normal operation.

HOW DOES EM-i WORK?

PURE ELECTRIC MODE

In this mode, the vehicle operates as a pure electric vehicle, powered entirely by the battery. Enjoy zero-emission driving with instant torque and calm silence. The battery is recharged via regenerative braking in this mode.

HYBRID MODE

The perfect balance of power and endurance. The electric motor and petrol engine work together in perfect, intelligent harmony to deliver optimal efficiency and maximum driving range. In this mode, the battery can be charged either via regenerative braking or the petrol motor.

POWER MODE

Unleash the vehicle's full potential. When maximum acceleration and responsiveness are needed, this mode engages both the electric motor and the petrol motor simultaneously.

Geely Short Blade Battery

Geely Short Blade Battery cut overall internal resistance by 5.5%, boost energy density by 6.7% and low-temperature energy retention by 8.7%, and raise average charging rate by 52%. They also passed the rigorous eight-needle penetration test without fire or explosion.
